Heli-Skiing - Course Summary
Looking
for powder, exhilaration and excitement? Why not try heli skiing. We offer
heliskiing in Italy or Switzerland with both countries and heli pick up points
are just 30 minutes drive from Chamonix. For example try heli skiing in Val
Veney in Italy. We fly to the vertiginous summit of the Dome du Neige
(3592metres) and then ski down 1600 vertical metres of descent before taking a
second heli ride to Mont Fortin where we ski down a further 1200 metre descent –
and all this before lunch! In the afternoon we can continue off-piste skiing in
the Courmayeur ski area.
Mountain Guides offers heli skiing for groups of up to 4. Each helicopter can
carry up to 4 clients, a guide (which is compulsory per helicopter) and a pilot. Heli-skiing is very weather dependent if it not possible to fly on your
chosen day your guide will offer off-piste skiing alternatives in the area.
